I believe every department in the county needs good leadership that embraces optimism with humility and teamwork. And that includes the Board of Supervisors. The leaders set the tone and the pace for all of those who are working under them. How we lead has a great impact on the inspiration and the production of our teams. When leadership is positive, respectful, and focused on solutions, it encourages people to do their best work. My goal is to foster that kind of environment, because when people feel supported and inspired, they will move in the right direction and great things can be accomplished together.

I have a lot of respect for people who work in county government. Their experience is valuable, and our county depends on dedicated public servants. The role of a supervisor, however, is a little different. A supervisor serves as a bridge between the people and county government.

My strength is that I come from the community side of that bridge. Through my work and relationships across the county, I hear firsthand from the people who live here—their concerns, their ideas, and the everyday challenges they face. That perspective helps ensure that decisions made at the county level stay grounded in what residents are actually experiencing.

Combined with my experience as a business owner, I bring a practical mindset focused on listening, collaboration, and results. My goal as a supervisor is to help make sure the voices of the community are clearly heard and thoughtfully represented in county government.
